Guidelines for Inspiratory muscle
training
Inspiratory Muscle
Training (IMT) is a form of pulmonary rehabilitation,
currently being researched in depth to find optimum and
effective treatments of use in various conditions with. One
must note that the rationale for respiratory muscle training
being very strong. Patients can condition their respiratory
muscles by following a regular programme of breathing
exercises. The Threshold IMT develops the respiratory muscles
by placing a workload on these muscles during inspiration. Click here for
more information.

Interesting Links
Whilst doing some
research on the net, I came across a very interesting leaflet
produced by the Occupational Therapy Department, The Ipswich
Hospital NHS Trust, about Anxiety Management. Considering that
most of us either suffer themselves or else come across
patients who suffer from anxiety, I thought it would be
usefull to post this link. Hope you will find it interesting
and informative for yourselves or others. Click
